John Leonard Clifton, 86, of Lehigh Street, Easton, died Sunday
in Easton Hospital. He was the husband of Mildred (Marsh) Clifton.
They were married 65 years this month.
He was a foreman and salesman at Schaibel's Bakery, Wilson,
for 36 years before retiring in 1974. Before that he was a
chauffeur for George Hellick, Easton, for 6-1/2 years.
Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Alexander H. and
Mae (Lichlicter) Clifton.
He was a member of First United Church of Christ, Easton.
Survivors: Wife; daughter, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren,
two step-great-grandchildren and a step-great-great-granddaughter.
Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Ashton Funeral Home, 14th and
Northampton streets, Easton. Call 9:30-10 a.m. Wednesday. |
