Mrs. Elmira Herster
Mrs. Elmira Herster, 78 years old, widow of Charles J. Herser, died
at 11:30 this morning at her home, 323 Cattell street.
Mrs. Herster was born in Palmer Township, a daughter of the late Andrew
Jackson and Caroline Weinberg Brown. She is survived by the following
children: Mrs. Elmer Waterbor and Russell Herster, of Detroit, Mich.;
and Harold Herster, living at home; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren
and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Hess, of 612 Walnut Street this city.
The late Rufus C. Herster, who was a member of the Easton City Guard,
was a son of the deceased. Mrs. Herster was a member of the Arndt's
Lutheran Church. |
