Harvey R. Bougher, Treadwell Machinist
Harvey Roscoe Boughter, 70, of 1022 W. Berwick St., Easton,
died at 7:25 p.ml. Satruday in Easton Hosptial, where he was
a patient since Jan. 11. He had been in failing health since
Septmber.
Mr. Boughter was employed for 30 years as a machinist with
the Treadwell Engineering Co., Palmer Township.
He was born Oct. 7, 1891, in Easton, a son of the late Franklin
and Martha Vogel Bougher. He lived at the Berwick Street address
since 1947. He formerly resided in Raubsville for 38 years.
Mr. Boughter and his wife, the former Mary Todd, observed
their 51st wedding anniversay on Oct. 25.
Mr. Boughter was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church,
South Side, and the Fleas Club of Easton.
Surviving besides his widow are two daughters, Grace, wife
of Louis Giba, Easton, and Bernice wife of Louis Behm, Bucksville;
three sons, Aubrey R. Boughter, Easton, Gilbert F. Bougher,
Miami Fla., and Jason D. (Jacke) Bougher, at home; a sister,
Mrs. Wiliam Kitchen, Easton; 11 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thrusdy in the Strunk Funeral
Home, Easton. |
