Mrs. French S. Dagon
Mrs. Edith M. Dagon, 70, of 523 Valley Ave., died yesterday in Porter
Memorial Hospital, Valparaiso, Ind. She was visiting her daughter,
*****, Valparaiso R.D. 5, since March 24.
Born April 2, 1899, in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Frank
and Edith Moser Bachman. Her husband, French S. Dagon, died in 1948.
Mrs. Dagon was a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran church, Palmer Township;
Easton, Sisterhood, Dames of Malta, Lodge 272, and Lady Griffith Rebeckah
Lodge 45, Phillipsburg.
Survivors include two sons, Earl F. and Joseph J., both of Easton;
three other daughters, Mrs. William J. Schaffer, with whom she resided
in Easton; Mrs. Robert Frankenfield, Wilson, and Mrs. Richard Stull,
Easton; a sister, Mrs. Helen Stickley, Palmer Township; 26 grandchildren
and nine great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Stunk Funeral Home,
Easton. Dames of Malta services will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday at the
funeral home. |
