William W. Abbott
Word has been received of the death of William W. Abbott, a native of Easton. Mr. Abbott died Sept 16 at his home, 36 Old Homestead Road, Belle Terre, Port Jefferson, N.Y., after a long illness.
He was employed in the New York office of the Ingersoll-Rand Co. 49 years before he retired.
Mr. Abbott was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. U. Grant Abbott.
Survivors include his widow, Elizabeth F. Abbott; a son, William F.; a sister, Mrs. H. Hamilton Weber, and two grandchildren. |
