Mrs. Levet DeRoach, wife of Hotel Owner
Mrs. Gertrude May DeRoach, 68, wife of Levet DeRoach, proprietor of the Seipsville Hotel, 2912 Nazareth Road, died yesterday at 3:30 p.m. in Betts Hospital. She was admitted on May 2.

Mrs. DeRoach was born in Hellertown, Aug. 27, 1884, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Rothrock. She made her home at the hotel since July, 1933, when her husband became proprietor. Prior to then, she lived in Wilson for many years.

She was a member of Good Shepperd Lutheran Church; William Parsons, Chapter 185, Order of Eastern Star, and Rosalind Circle 791, Companions of Foresters of America.

Surviving, besides her husband, are a son, Levet H. DeRoach, of Seipsville; two grandchildren; three sisters Mrs. Sally Koch and Mrs. Emma Saurwine both of Bethlehem, and Mrs. Ella Reiss, of Hellertown, and two brothers, Henry Rothrock of Allentown, and Howard Rothrock of Bethlehem.

Rites for Mrs. DeRoach
Funeral services for Mrs. Gertrude May DeRoach, 68, wife of Levet DeRoach, proprietor of the Seipsville Hotel, where held this afternoon at the Fisher Funeral Home. Mrs. DeRoach died Friday at Betts Hospital.

The Rev. Glenn G. Neubauer, pastor of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, officiated. Interment was in Northampton Memorial Shrine. Pallbearers were Robert and Martin Hollowell, Clyde Kemmerer, Philip and Carl Raub and William Hulshizer.

Members of Rosalind Circle 781, Companions of Foresters of America, and William Parsons Chapter 185, Order of Easter Star, held services last night at the funeral home.
