Leola L. Young, domestic worker
Leola L. Young, 99, of Riegelsville, died Friday, Dec 1 in the home of her daughter, Marion A. Mills, with whom she resided.
She was associated with farming in Pennsylvania and New Jersey with her husband, George W. who died in1961. She was also a domestic for various families in the Riegelsville area from 1950 to 1975.
Born July, 4. 1897, in Finesville, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Levi and Jennie Edinger Laubach.
She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Riegelsville, where she was a member of the Sunday School, Willing Workers and the Lutheran church woman.
In addition to her daughter, she is survived by three sons, William R. of Milford, N.J. George Allen of Palmer Township and Floyd E. of Durham Township; a half-sister, Viola Dilts of Finesville; nine grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
Services will beheld at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Robert W. Snyder Funeral Home, 327 Easton Road, Riegelsville, Call 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Riegelsville Union Cemtery. |
