Young
William R. Young, 89, died Wednesday, April 16, 2003, in
Easton Hospital in Wilson Borough.
Born: Jan. 27, 1914,
in Finesville, N.J., a son of the late George W. and
Leola Laubach Young.
Personal: He had lived in ManorCare
Health Services in Easton for about four months, in Country
Meadows in Bethlehem for over three years and had been
a resident of Phillipsburg and a longtime resident of
Milford. He was last employed as a supervisor in the
coating department of the Milford Mill of the Riegel
Paper Corp. He had worked for the company for over 45
years, before retiring in 1977. William was an avid hunter
and fisherman and was one of the founders of Rocky Ridge
Hunting Club in Marshall's Creek, Pa.
Memberships: He
was a member of the Riegel Paper Corp.'s Quarter Century
Club, a charter member of the Farmer's Sportsman's
Club in Holland Township and a former member of the Fire Company
and Emergency Squad of Milford.
Survivors: his wife,
; two daughters, six grandchildren;
eight great-grandchildren; ; and a sister,
and a brother.
A brother, G. Allen, died earlier. Services: 11 a.m.
Saturday in the Robert W. Snyder Funeral Home , 327
Easton Road, Riegelsville, with the Rev. Jeffrey Wargo of
St. John United Church of Christ in Riegelsville, officiating.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Saturday in the funeral
home. Burial will be in the Riegelsville Union Cemetery. |
