Paul J. Hutchison, was engineer on L&NE 45 years
Paul J. Hutchison, 81, of 333 W. Main St., Bath, died Friday in Muhlenberg Medical Center, Bethlehem.
Born Sept 10, 1899, in Bath. he was a son of the late George and Mary Hahn Hutchison.
Before his retirement in 1964, Mr. Hutchison spent 45 years as railroad engineer for the Lehigh and New England Railroad, He was a deacon and elder of Christ UCC Church, Bath, for many years.

A veteran of World War I. he was also a member of Eckley E. Patch Post 470, American Legion, Bath, Northampton County 40 and 8, and the Veterans of World War I.
His wife, Lottie Leigh Hutchison died Jan 13, 1977.
Surviving are a son, Larry B. Hutchison, of Northampton; a daughter, Mrs. Charmaine Laneri, Glastonbury, Conn. two sisters, Mazie Michael, Bethlehem and Vivian Sandt, Nazareth, and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Bartholomew Funeral Home, 243 S. Walnut St., Bath. Interment will be in Green Mount Cemetery, Bath.
