Rolland B. "Bob" Hinkel, 71, of 3014 Fischer Road, Palmer Township, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, in Easton Hospital. He was the husband of Grace H. (Sortino) Hinkel. They were married for 45 years in April.

He was employed by Ingersoll-Rand Co., Phillipsburg, for 38 years before retiring in 1987.

Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Clayton and Lucetta (Lundsten) Hinkel.

He was a member of Palmer Moravian Church, Palmer Township.

Hinkel was a coach for the Palmer Little League in 1973.

He was an Army veteran of World War II and attended Churchman's Business College, Easton.

Survivors: Wife; sons, ***** of Palmer Township, ***** of San Bruno, Calif., and ***** at home; brother, George R.R. of Tulsa, Okla.; sisters, Helen E. Osbeck of Madison, Wis., and ***** of Palmer Township, and a grandson.

Services: 12:30 p.m. Friday in the church. Call 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday in church. Arrangements, Ashton Funeral Home, Easton.
