Mrs. Josephine E. F. Cole
Mrs. Josephine Elizabeth Frankenfield Cole, widow of Stephen P. Cole,
died at her residence, No. 217 South Seventh Street, at 4:30 o'clock
this morning, following a stroke of apoplexy. She was 68 years of age.
Mrs. Cole was born in Easton on June 17, 1857, and was a daughter
of the late Henry and Lusetta Clauss Frankenfield. She is survived
by three sons, Franklin Cole, of Bethlehem, George F. and John S. Cole
of Easton, and a daughter, Mrs. Daniel E. Ritter, of Allentown. She
also leaves two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Deceased was a member of St. John's Lutheran church, this city. She
was possessed of a very genial disposition and her sudden death will
be a shock to her wide circle of friends. |
