Mrs. George W. Koose Former Easton Resident
Word has been received that Mrs. Estella G. Yutz Koose, 62, former Easton resident; died on June 12, at her home in Quincy Mass. She was the widow of George W. Koose, who died in 1937.
Mrs. Koose was born in Easton, Aug 13, 1889, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Yutz. She attended the Easton schools graduating from Easton High School in 1907. She later worked here as a private secretary.
On June 12, 1911, she and Mr. Koose, also an Easton resident were married in Central Moravian church, Bethlehem. She and her husband moved to Nazareth, where Mr. Koose managed Child’s Grocery Store.
She and her husband moved to Quincy in 1917 and had made their home there since then. Mrs. Koose was a member of Union Congregational Church, Wollaston, Mass., and was active in the Women’s Guild of the Church.
Her only immediate survivor is a daughter, Miss Sylvia E. Koose at home.
Funeral services were held on Sunday in Union Church and burial was in Quincy. |
