Mrs. Gardner Brewer
Mrs. Ortha Brewer, 85, died at 11 p.m. yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lottie Hunt, Riegelsville, N.J., with whom she resided for the last eight years.
Mrs. Brewer formerly lived in Upper Nazareth Township for 22 years and later in Washington and Plainfield Township.
Mrs. Brewer was the widow of Gardner Brewer who died in 1943. Born in Washington Township, she was a daughter of the late martin and Mary Yeisley Young.
She was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving in addition to her daughter, are four sons, William, Newtown Square, Pa.; Martin, Bangor, and Abraham and Elwood, both of Pen Argyl R. D1, 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. A son, Earl and five daughters died before her.
The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Schmidt Home, Wind Gap. |
