Herbert Young, Ackermanville Native
Word has been received of the death of Herbert Young, 82, of Vero Beach, Fla., a farmer and a native of Ackermanville.
Born on Sept 12, 1871, o the farm of his grandfather at Ackermanville, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Martin G. Young. Mr. Young moved to southern Florida about 1893. After working a few years in the pineapple business he went into business for himself in Jupiter, Fla. He later grew winter vegetables and citrus fruit, in 1925 he moved to Vero Beach.
Surviving are his widow, six children and one stepchild. |
