James E. Woodring, 60, of 4266 Beverly Court Road, Allentown, formerly of Washington,
N.J., and Easton, died Tuesday in Sacred Heart Hospital. He was the husband of
Alverta (Kilts) Woodring.
He was a ZMT operator for the Lehigh Valley Postal Center,
Allentown, for 12 years. Before that, he was an accountant
and office manager for several Allentown area firms.
Born in Easton, he was a son of Wilson H.P. and Elva E. (Foulk)
Woodring of Easton.
He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Allentown.
Woodring was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He was a past master of Dallas Lodge 396, F&AM, Easton.
Surviving with his widow and parents are a daughter, a
brother, and two sisters.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Ashton Funeral
Home, 14th and Northampton Streets, Easton. Calling hours will
be 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday.
