Mrs. Edward T. Clauss
Mrs. Edith Belle Clauss, 78, of 2079 Bushkill Park Drive, Forks Township, died at her home today after an illness of six months.
Mrs. Clauss was the widow of Edward T. Clauss, who died September 20, 1947.
Born January 29, 1885, in Palmer Township, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna Lynn Woodring. She was a member of Arndt’s United Church of Christ, Forks Township, and a Sunday school, ladies bible class and Willing Workers.
Surviving are three daughters, Arlene, wife of Elwood Hunt, of the Bushkill Drive address; Naomi wife of Henry Steyers, Forks Township, and Martha wife of Robert Wolfinger, Wilson; two sons, Robert, Forks Township, and Harold, Nazareth R.D. 3; a sister, Mrs. Mamie E Gruver, Palmer township, 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Three other children are deceased. They are a son, Henry, who died in 1934; a son, Earl, who died in 1956, and a daughter Elizabeth, wife of Charles Wentzelberger, Boston, Massachusetts.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Shillinger Funeral Home, Easton. |
