Mrs. Erwin Gable
Mrs. Amanda Gable, 79 widow of Erwin Gable, died today at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Fisher, 625 Fifth avenue, Bethlehem, where she resided.
Mrs. Gable was born in Hanoverville on Feb. 9, 1871, daughter of the late Thomas and Maria Shafer Woodring. She was a member of Schoenersville Lutheran church.
She is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. Percy Kidd, of Nazareth, and Mrs. Lawrence C. Horn; of Bethlehem; a sister Mrs. Harvey Stout, of Bath, R.D2; one grandchild and one great-grandchild. A sister and four brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Steyer funeral home, 800 Linden Street, Bethlehem. The Rev. W. E. Touhsaent, pastor of Rosemount Lutheran Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Schoenersville cemetery. |
