Mrs. Reynolds Was Active in Affairs
Mrs. Christine Reynolds, wife of William Reynolds, died shortly
after 10 o'clock Sunday morning at her home, 193 South Main
Street, Phillipsburg, following an illness of only two days,
her death being sudden and unexpected by her relatives and
friends, of whom she had many. For a number of years Mrs. Reynolds,
was keenly interested in the civic affairs of Phillipsburg
and was an active worker for the Red Cross and Warren Hospital
She was a charter member of First Baptist church and was also
a member of Peggy Warne Chapter, Daughters of the American
Revolution, and the Pythian Sisters.
Besides her husband and deceased is survived by a son, William
W. Reynolds, principal of the Haddonfield, N.J., High School,
and four sisters, Mrs. Isaac McCracken, Miss Helen Weaver and
Mrs. John H. Houser, Phillipsburg, and Mrs. Elizabeth Smith,
New York City. |
