N. S. Walters, Binney & Smith Supervisor, 53
Nelson Shuman Walters, 53, of 2025 Park Road, died at 11:15 p.m. yesterday
in Easton Hospital where he was admitted at 1 a.m. yesterday. Mr. Walters was supervisor of the press and multichalk departments
at Binney & Smith Co.
Born Oct 25, 1912, in Tatamy, he was a son of Mrs. Anna F. Shuman
Walters, now of Easton R.D.2 and the late Francis J. Walters, who died
in 1959.
Mr. Walters served in the Navy during World War II and was amember
of Arndt's Lutheran Church and the 25 year club of Binney & Smith.
Survivors include his widow, the former Esther Sabilla Schippers;
a son, Thomas L., at home; two sisters, Ellen, wife of Andrew Zanelli,
Mine Hill, N.J. and Jean, wife of Rosaria Sottosanti, Palmer Township;
and a brother Leo A. Palmer Township.
Funeral arrangements are being made by the Bender Funeral Home, Easton
