Mrs. Herbert U. Jefts
Mrs. Edith Walter Jefts, wife of Herbert U. Jefts, died on Satruday
at Wilmington, Vermont, form diabetes, aged 44 years. She was born
at Walter's Mill, near Easton and was a daughter of the late John
T. and Fannie Hagenbuch Walter. She resided at Walter's Mill until
her marrige in 1907.
Mrs. Jefts is survived by her hsuband; two stepdaughters; one sister,
Miss Carrie H. Walter, of 130 McCartney Street, College Hill and
one brother G. Frank Walter, supervisor for the Pennsylvania Railroad
at York, who arrived here on Friday to attend the fifteenth reunion
of his class at Lafayette College. She was a member of St. John's
Lutheran church. The body will be brought here for interment.
