Kenneth A. Walters, 80, of 549 Corliss Ave., Phillipsburg,
died Monday in Warren Hospital. He was the husband of Margaret
(Wilson) Hunt Walters.
He was a treasurer and accounts payable clerk for the former
M.C. Ricciardi Co., Alpha, N.J., before retiring in 1972. Before
that he was terminal manager for Biters Freight Lines, Alpha.
Born in Glendon Heights, N.J., he was a son of the late Harvey
and Laura (Eckhardt) Walters.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Phillipsburg,
where he was a past president and member of the council.
He served with the Navy Seabees during World War II.
Survivors: Wife; brothers, Arthur of Phillipsburg and Conrad
of Summerfield, Fla.; sisters, Mabel Mamber of Phillipsburg
and Mary Wood of Lake Honeoye, N.Y., stepson, Robert Hunt of
York; stepdaughter, Mary Hunt Kranick of Bethlehem, and two
step- grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. tomorrow, Rupell Funeral Home, 465 Memorial
Parkway, Phillipsburg. Call 7-9 p.m. today. |
