Frank D. Walters, 30, Penna. Pump Employee
Frank David Walters, 30, an employee of the Pennsylvania Pump
and Compressor Co., died yesterday afternoon at his home, 410
Pennsylvania avenue, Shimer Manor, Pohatcong Township.
At the time of his death, he had been with the firm for two
years working as a time clerk. Mr. Walters had suffered a brief
illness.
Born in Phillipsburg, he was a son of Harvey and Laura Eckhardt
Walters, o f 394 Grant Street, Phillipsburg. He was a graduate
of Phillipsburg High School, class of 1940, and worked at the
Springcrest Beverage Co. and Warren Foundry and Pipe Corp.
before taking the post at Pennsylvania Pump. Mr. Walters was
a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Easton.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Hager Walters; his parents;
three brothers, Kenneth, Arthur and Conrad, all of Phillipsburg,
and two sisters, Mrs. Franklin Wood, of Easton, and Mrs. Mabel
Mamber, of Phillipsburg. |
