Mrs. Ethel H. Petty, 74, of Rhoemerville R.1, Canadensis, died Saturday in Pocono Hospital. She was the wife of Leslie Petty.

Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Susan (Bright) Walter.

She was a member of Bible Fellowship Church, Greentown, Pike County.

Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Jane E., wife of Cline Dalrymple of Newfoundland, Wayne County, and Navy CWO Beverly J. of Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother Jacob Jr. of Easton; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Paul who died in 1975.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Arthur J. Frey Funeral Home, Route 191, La Anna, Pike County. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Hay Cemetery, Easton. A calling period will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday until services.
