Mrs. Emma M. Brown, wife of Lewis O. Brown, died the morning at her residence, No. 415 McCartney Street, of typhoid fever. Deceased was the daughter of Josiah Walter and was born in Forks Township in 1866. She had assisted in caring for the family of her brother, Abram Walters at the north end of Cattell street, who were afflicted recently with the fever, and she contracted her illness there.
