Aaron Walter
Aaron Walter, 85, formerly of Easton, died Saturday night in City Hospital, New York City
Mr. Walter had resided for the last five years with his son, John at 1156 Third Ave., New York City.
Born July 24, 1870 in Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Quintus and Elizabeth Hopple Walter. He was employed by the Treadwell Engineering Co. and later with the old Simon Silk Co, Eston. He retired in 1930. He was of the Lutheran faith.
Surviving besides his son, John, are a son, Raymond, Teaneck, N.J. a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Leide, New York City, a brother Stewart, Bangor R.D. two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A son William died in 1948 and his wife Sabina died in 1951.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Strunk Funeral Home, Easton. |
