Wilbur L. Vogel, 66, of 3960 Pennsylvania Ave., S.E. Washington,
D.C., formerly of Easton, was found dead Wednesday in his
apartment. The coroner's report stated Mr. Vogel had died
Saturday or Sunday of a coronary thrombosis.
Mr. Vogel was employed as a machinist in the Navy Yard, Washington,
for the last 22 years. Born in Easton, he was a son of the
late Adam and Isabell Kichline Vogel. He lived on Centre Street
in Easton until he moved to Allentown about 30 years ago.
He's was a former member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, South
Side.
Surviving are three sons, Wilbur Jr, Dundalk, MD.; William,
Allentown, and Robert, Cleveland; two daughters, Mrs. Donald
Ruth, Allentown, and Mrs. Walter Stout, Easton R.D. 4; a sister,
Mrs. Roy Fulmer, Easton, and 13 grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Derr Funeral
Home, 46 E. Susquehanna St., Allentown. |
