Luther M. Vogel
Luther M. Vogel, 79, who resided at the Wardell Hotel, Philipsburg,
died last night in Warren Hosptial where he had been a patient
since Dec. 30.
Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Samuel and Sarah
Haney Vogel. He was a lifelong resident of Phillipsburg, and
before retiring two yearsago, worked at the Canister Co., Phillipsburg.
Mr. Vogel formerly was employed at the old horseshoe works
in Phillipsburg. His wife, the former Minnie Price, ied in
1943. He was of the Lutheran faith and was a member of the
Phillipsburg Eagles.
Surviving are a son, Alfred D., of Easton; a brother, Daniel,
of Phillipsburg; a sister, Mrs. Emma Cole, of Phillipsburg;
two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. |
