Former South Sider Died in Cleveland
Word was received here last night of the sudden death yesterday
afternoon at Cleveland, O. of Mrs. Eva Vogel Derr, a former
resident of the South Side. The telegram did not state the
cause of death. Mrs. Derr had suffered a severe heart attack
about a year ago. She was a native of this city, a daughter
of the late Emanuel and Eliza Vogel and left about 40 years
ago.
She is survied by a son, William Derr and a granddaughter,
Miss Edith Derr, both of Cleveland; a sister Frank Bougher,
of 1008 Berwick street, and two brothers, Adam Vogel of 462
Line Street, and Harvey Vogel, of 914 Ridge Avenue. West Easton.
While a resident of Easton, she was a member of St. John's
Lutheran Church. The funeral will be held from her home in
Cleveland on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. |
