Gordon Unangst, 80, Ex-Insurance Agent
Gordon C. Unangst, 80, of 660 Mill St., Alpha died this morning
in Warren Hospital.
Mr. Unangst was an insurance agent for the Prudential Insurance
Co. for 30 years, retiring 27 years ago.
Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Benjamin F. and
Elizabeth Wilhelm Unangst. His wife, the former Leila Burwell,
died in 1923.
He was of the Methodist Faith.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Marguerite Kilpatrick
and Mrs. Anthony Pacchioli, both of Easton, Mrs. Mae Burrell,
Levittown, and Mrs. Charles Somogyi, Alpha; two sons, Rodney,
Princeton, NJ., and Howard, Fort Worth Texas; an adopted
son, John Burwell, Wantagh, NY; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Apgar,
Easton; 25 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Finegan
Funeral Home, Alpha.
