Cyrus Unangst
Cyrus Unangst, 81, 29 West North Street, Bethlehem, who had been ill
for some time with a complication of diseases, died on Friday night
at 10:50.
Mr. Unangst was born on March 31, 1848, and was a son of Mr. and Mrs.
Jacob Unangst. During the early years of his life he worked on a farm
subsequently moving to Bethlehem, where for a period of 30 years he
was employed at the plant of the Bethlehem Steel Company, as an engineer.
He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Church, and was affiliated
with Packer Castle 116, Knights of the Golden Eagle. His wife preceded
him in death a numbers of years ago.
He is survived by two sons, Edwin J. Unangst and Allen Unangst; one
brother, Jeremiah Unangst and two sisters, Mrs. Frank Kistler and Mrs.
Susan Applebach, all of Bethlehem.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. with brief services
at the house. Services will be conducted in St. John's Evangelical
Church at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be made in Hellertown Cemetery.
