Marvin R. Streepy, native of Wilson Borough
Ambler, Pa. Marvin R. STeepy, 75, of Chestnut Lane, Ambler,
died Sunday, March 5, at his home.
He was last employed as a chemical engineer for the Certain
teed Co., King of Prussia, Pa., for 10 years retiring in 1985.
Born Sept 20, 1919, in Wilson Borough, he was a son of the
late Geroge and Margaret Raub Steepy.
he was a meber of the former councilman of the Upper Dublin
Lutheran Church, Ambler. He sang bass in teh church choir and
for the Choristers vocal group, Ambler.
He was a 1927 graduate of Wilson High School and a 1950 graduate
of Lafayette Collge with a degree in chemical engineering.
He served in teh Army during World War II and the Korean War.
He was a ember of the Reserve Officers Association of Willow
Grove, Pa.
He seved as a volunteer for the Montgomery Valley Association
for the Blind.
He is survived by his wife, the former Evelyn Ackles Mack;
two daughtes,a sister, Madeline Patriarca of Williams
Township; and two grandchildren.
His first wife the former Arlene jackson, died in 1989.
Services iwll be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday int eh Upper Dublin
Lutheran Church, Ambler. Call from 10 a.m. to the time of services
Wednesday at the church.
Burial will be in the Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville,
Pa.
The Robert W. Snyder Funeral home, 327 Easton Road, Reigeslville,
is in charge of arrangments. |
