Marion Wilhelm Steele
Marion Wilhelm Steele, 93, formerly of Wilson Borough, passed
away on Friday, January 13, 2006 in Westminster Village, Allentown,
Pa.
Born: On January 13, 1913 in Raubsville, Pa, she was a daughter
of the late William F. and Mary R. Wilhelm Steele.
Personal: She graduated from Easton High School in 1929.
Marion retired in 1978 from the accounting department of the
former Victor Balata Belting Company. She was also a volunteer
for Miller Memorial Blood Center for many years.
Memberships: Marion was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church,
Easton, where she was a member of the Quilters and WELCA, and
years ago served as superintendent of the Cradle Roll for many
years. She was a former member of the AARP, Palmer Township.
Survivors: She is survived by cousins; and a special friend,
Ruth Illick of Easton.
A brother, William L., and an infant sister, Helen, all died
earlier.
Services: Will be Monday at 1 p.m. in the Strunk Funeral Home,
Inc., 602 W. Berwick Street, Easton. Call on Monday from 12
to 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Raubsville
Cemetery.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the
church, 610 W. Berwick Street, Easton. |
