Russell V. Steckel, 50, Ingersoll-Rand Employee
Russell V. Steckel, 50, of 127 East Wilkes-Barre Street, South
Easton employee of the Ingersoll-Rand Co. for 26 years died
Saturday at 3:20 p.m. in Easton hospital.
A lifelong resident, Mr. Steckel was admitted to the hospital
on Friday night. He had been in failing health about two years.
He was a son of the late George W. and Caroline Volklein Steckel.
He had been with the West Easton Plant of the Ingersoll for
10 years and at the Phillipsburg plant for the remainder of
his service. At the time of his death, he was working in the
Cameron-Pump division as a tool grinder. Mr. Steckel was a
member of Second Methodist church, South Side.
Surviving are his wife Margaret; a son, Neil, at home; two
sisters, Mrs. Robert Licht of Nazareth and Mrs. Jacob Hendershot
of Easton, and a brother Carl P. of Easton. |
