Jean S. Pence, legal Secretary
Jean S. Pence, 69, of Washington, died Wednesday, July 10, in her home.
She was a secretary for Probe Layers Service in Washington.
Born Dec. 19, 1927, in Oxford, she was a daughter of Anna Mae Ambrecht Spangenberg and the late William B. Spangenberg.
She was an elder and former deacon of the First Presbyterian church of Washington where she was a member.
She was a member of the Eastern Star No. 136 in Washington.
She was the treasurer of the Warren county Ostomy Association in Phillipsburg.
She was a member of the Deborah Circle of Presbyterian Women in Washington.
She was a 1946 graduate of Washington High School and was very active on the class reunion committee.
She is survived by her husband, Jay of Washington; daughter, *****. of Washington; two sons, ***** of Old Hickory, Tenn., and ****. of Harmony Township; and five grandchildren.
A sister, Lois “Spange’ Rodgers of Padacah, Ky., died earlier.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the church, East Church Street, Washington. There will be no calling hours.
Burial of the cremains will be in the H.G. Smith Cemetery in Stroudsburg. |
