Derwood E. Shook, 72, of Wind Gap, died Jan. 17 in Easton Hospital. He was married to Nancy (Confer) Shook for 49 years last April.
Born in Washington Township, he was a son of the late Elmer and Mary (Stocker) Shook.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Wind Gap.
He was a Navy veteran, serving aboard the USS Salem. He was a member of the USS Salem Association and the American Legion, Wind Gap.
He was a member of Pen Argyl Masonic Lodge 594 and Petersville Rod and Gun Club.
Survivors: Wife; sons, daughter, three grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, James B. Gaffney Funeral Home, 200 S. Robinson Ave., Pen Argyl. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday. |
