Ralph P. Seifert, 49, Native of Easton
The body of Ralph P. Seifert, 59, of Allentown, a native of Easton who had been missing since Saturday, was found yesterday afternoon about 4:30 o'clock in the Lehigh River, at the foot of Gordon Street Allentown.

The body was discovered hanging to a cable of the Adams Island ferry, about 40 feet west of the island, George S. Boyer, Lehigh County coroner, said the death was due to drowning. Mr. Seifert was reported to have been suffering from a nervous breakdown.

Mr. Seifert was a son of Mrs. Clara Brotzman, and the late Purman Seifert. He had lived in Allentown for 22 years, and had spent 20 years of that time in the employ of the Atlantic Refining Co. He was a member of Christ Evangelical United Brethren Church, Easton; Lehicton Lodge314, I. O. O. F, also of Easton, and the Lehigh Fish and Game Association.

Surviving besides his mother, are his wife, Rode Duld Seifert; four sisters, Mrs. Harold Sloyer, of Willoughby, Ohio; Mrs. Robert Freytag and Miss Berna Seifert, both of Easton, and Mrs. Quintus Frey, of Newton, N.J.
