Mrs. Harold W. Sloyer
Mrs. Arvilla M. Sloyer, 82, formerly of Easton, died Monday in Easton Hospital after a long illness. She had been a guest at Gracedale for the past two years.
Born in Williams Township, on March 25, 1899, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Clara Brotzman Seifert.
Mrs. Sloyer was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran church, Wilson; William Parsons chapter No. 185, Order of Eastern Star; Lafayette Court No. 133,Order of the Amaranth; Siloam Shrine No. 13, Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, and the Ladies Auxiliary of Hugh de Payens Commandary No. 19, Knights Templar, all of Easton.
Her husband, Harold W. Sloyer, died in 1957.
Surviving are a son, ***** of South Amboy, N.J.; two sisters, Mrs. Olive Freytag, York, PA, and Mrs. Gladys Frey, Newton, NJ and six nieces and nephews.
Serviced will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Clements Funeral Home, Easton. Interment will be in Hay's Cemetery, Easton. |
