John H. Schuler, 79, of Williams Township died Thursday, May 1, in his home. He was the husband of Verna J. (Schippers) Schuler. They were married 48 years last September.
He was a supervisor for Ingersoll-Rand, turbo division, Phillipsburg, for 39 years, retiring in 1971.
Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Matthias and Emma (Buttner) Schuler and a stepson of the late Edith (Franklin) Schuler.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific Theater.
Survivors: Wife; brothers, ***** of Wilson and ***** of Easton; sisters, ****** of Sayreville, N.J., and Eleanor Ackerman of Easton; three grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. A son, John H. Jr., died in 1992.
Services: 11 a.m. Monday, Ashton Funeral Home, 14th and Northampton streets, Easton. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Sunday.
