William R. Schippers Jr., 70, of 1325 Morgan Hill Road, Williams
Township, died Thursday in Easton Hospital. He was the husband
of Anne L. (Dougherty) Schippers. They were married 47 years
last October.
He was the former owner of Schippers Service Inc., Easton,
for many years before retiring in 1975.
Born in Williams Township, he was a son of the late William
R. Sr. and Edith Grace (Coken) Schippers.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Easton.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific
Theater.
He was a warrant member of Lafayette Lodge, Easton.
Survivors: Wife; sons, ***** in Florida and ***** of New Village,
N.J.; brothers, Harry C. and ****, both of Williams Township,
and *****. in Florida; sisters, Lydia S. Lowe of Macungie,
*****of Easton and ***** of Williams Township;
two grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Ashton Funeral Home, 14th and
Northampton streets, Easton. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Sunday. |
