Stuart C. Sarson, 66, of 1734 Chew St., Allentown, died Tuesday in his home. He was the husband of the late Florence (Gorsky) Sarson.

He was a carpenter in the Allentown area for more than 40 years, working out of Carpenters' Union Local 600.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Clark P. and Annie M. (VanLuvanee) Sarson.

He was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Whitehall Township.

Sarson was a Navy veteran of World War II.

He was a past chairman of the Lehigh Valley Council of Carpenters.

Surviving are two sons, Stuart C. Jr. of Whitehall and **** of Wernersville, Berks County; a daughter, *****. of Boca Raton, Fla.; five brothers, Melvin of Voorhees, N.J., Kenneth of Bethlehem, John of Sedona, Ariz., ***** of Tampa, Fla., and Richard of Allentown; two sisters, ***** of Saltsberg, Indiana County, and Mildred, wife of William Youngkin of Bethlehem, and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the church. Calling hours will be 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday in the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 16th and Hamilton streets, Allentown
