Herbert A. Sandt, retired printer
Herbert A. Sandt, 60, of 118 E. Myrtle Ave., died Saturday, May 15, in Temple university Hospital, Philadelphia.
He was a printer at Mack Printing for 26 years before retiring.
Born Oct, 29, 1932, in Palmer Township, he was a son of the late Carl O. and Maime Reed Sandt.
He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Easton.
He was also a member of the Order of Fleas, Easton. he formerly volunteered for the Suburban Rescue Squad, palmer Township, and the YMCA, Easton for many years.
He served in the Army during the Korean War.
He was a 1952 graduate of Easton High school.
He and his wife, the former Carolyn E. Crone, Celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary last November.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, **** at home and **** of Northampton; a brother, **** of Easton; and two sisters, ***** and *****, both of Easton.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 2300 Ferry St., Easton. Call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Ashton Funeral Home, 14th and Northampton Streets, Easton.
Burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Township.
