Donald J. Sandt, lived in Easton
Donald J. “Ding” Sandt, 89, of Willow Valley Manor, Lancaster, pa., died Tuesday, September 26, in his home.
He founded Main Line Credit bureau in Bryn Mawr and served as president form 1952 to 1978.
Formerly of Haverton, Pa., he was born in Easton. He was a son of the late John D. and Hattie M. Ott Sandt.
He was a 1924 graduate of Easton Area High School. He attended the University of Alabama and was a 1928 graduate of Lafayette College.
He collected Indian artifacts and was past president of the Pennsylvania collectors Association. He was also a member of the Bryn Mawr Rotary and main Line Kiwanis club.
His wife, the former Lillian may Muthard, died earlier.
Survivors include a daughter, Charlotte J., Erdley of Wenohah, N.J.; and two grandchildren
