George Rymond, 74, Was LVRR Conductor
George F. Rymond Sr. 74, 736 Milton St. was pronounced dead on arrival yesterday afternoon at Easton Hospital. He was taken to the hospital by the Easton Emergency Squad after he was stricken at his home.

Born March 17, 1895, in Easton, he was a son of the late William P. and Susan Stocker Rymond. His wife was the late Catherine B Lebo Rymond, who died in 1961.

Mr. Rymond was a retired conductor for the Lehigh Valley Railroad. He was employed by the railroad 45 years, retiring in 1962.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, was the scribe of the Valley Union Encampment 138, IOOF, and was a member of the Knights of Malta.

Survivors include a son, George F. Jr., at home; two sisters, Mrs. William T. Smith, Wyalusing and Mrs. Ethel Esther Snyder, Allentown, and two grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at the convenience of the family at the Strunk Funeral Home, Easton.
