Riley joint services Wednesday; victims of 3-vehicle crash
Joint services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Peter's Episcopal
Church, Washington, for Kenneth C. Riley, 61, and his wife, Julia "Judy" H.
Riley, 59, of Washington, R.D. 1, victims of a three-vehicle crash
Friday afternoon in Easton.
The accident occurred in the westbound lanes of Route 22 near the
Fourth Street exit.
Mr. Riley died in Easton Hospital. Mrs. Riley was pronounced dead
on arrival at the hospital.
Born in Easton, Mrs. Riley was a daughter of the late Vasil and Teresa
Harobin. Her husband, also born in Easton, was a son of Mrs. Ruth Conine
Riley, Bethlehem, and the late Roy Riley.
The couple were members of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Washington.
Mr. Riley was president of Vikon Tile Corp., Washington.
A 1938 graduate of Easton High School, he was a captain of its championship
baseball team. He also served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
The couple is survived by a son, and a daughter, and two grandchildren.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Riley is survived by two sisters.
Mrs. Riley also is survived by a brother and
four sisters.
Interment will be in Washington Cemetery. DeVoe Funeral Service Inc.
in Washington is in charge of arrangements.
