Maynard L. Raub Sr., 90, of 216 Crest Ave., Bethlehem, died Wednesday in his home. He was the husband of Margaret (Williams) Raub.
He was employed by Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 42 years before retiring in 1961 as a saw operator in the beam yards.
Born in Durham, he was a son of the late Cyrus and Louella Raub.
He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Lower Saucon Township.
Surviving with his widow are two daughters, Edwina, wife of Carl Sloyer of Hellertown, and *****, wife of Richard Schaffer of Germansville; a son, Maynard L. Jr. of Bethlehem; a sister, Mrs. LaVerne R. Mescke of Mansfield, Ohio; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the Wallace M. Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem. Calling hours will be 7-9 p.m. Friday. |
