Maynard L. "Barney" Raub Jr., 71, of 231 Crest Ave., Bethlehem, died Saturday in St. Luke's Hospital. He was the husband of Arlene E. (Wolfe) Raub. They were married 41 years last March.
He was a salesman at the former Miller Furniture Co., Bethlehem, for 19 years before retiring. Before that, he worked as a salesman and delivery person for the former Dave Reis Furniture Co., Bethlehem.
Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Maynard Sr. and Margaret (Williams) Raub.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors: Wife, and sisters, Edwina, wife of Carl Sloyer of Hellertown and *****, wife of Richard Schaffer of Bethlehem.
Graveside services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Woodlawn Memorial Park, Allentown. No calling hours. Arrangements, Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. |
