Harold K. `Pete` Pursell, 82, of 309 Park Ave., Delaware Park,
Lopatcong Township, N.J., formerly of ManorCare Health Services,
Palmer Township, died Thursday, Jan. 13, in Warren Hospital.
He was the husband of Irene (Gehringer) Pursell, who died in
1995.
He was a mechanic in the maintenance department of the J.T.
Baker Chemical Co., Phillipsburg, for 30 years before retiring
in 1980.
Born in Riegelsville, N.J., he was a son of the late William
and Blanche (Hunt) Pursell.
He was a Protestant.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, having served with
the 70th Field Artillery Battalion in the European Theater.
He was a member of the Quarter Century Club at J.T. Baker.
Survivors: Sisters, Grace Gill of Delaware Park and Ida Stetser
of Oaklyn, N.J., nieces and nephews.
