Dorothy P. Brotzman - (The
Express Times)
Dorothy P. Brotzman, 95, formerly of Wilson Borough, died Saturday,
Dec. 18, 2004 in Old Orchard Health Care Center. Born: On April 27,
1909 in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Valentine C., Sr.
and Bessie Smock Pfister. Personal: Her husband, Roy L., died in 1948.
She retired in 1974 from the former Weller Electric Co. Prior to that,
she was employed by the former Chipman Knitting Mills and former Tung
Sol. Memberships: She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Williams
Township. Dorothy was a 50 year member of William Parsons Chapter 185,
Order of Eastern Star. Survivors: She is survived by two brothers,
Robert "Pete" and Harry "Sonny" Pfister, both of
William Township; a sister, Elizabeth Hosier of Forks Township; and
nieces and nephews. A brother, Valentine "Mike" Pfister,
Jr. and five sisters, Frances Lee, Carrie Myer, Marjorie Brotzman,
Virginia Riddle and Eva Kichline, died earlier. Services: A memorial
service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the church, 2745 Morgan
Hill Rd. The Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 602 W. Berwick St., Easton
is in charge of arrangements. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials
may be made to the church, Easton, PA 18042.
