Harold Paulus, Printer at Dixie Division
Harold E. Paulus, 51, of 710 Sheridan Drive, Bethlehem Township,
died Saturday in Easton Hospital where he was a patient nine days.
born in Butztown on Aug. 28, 1923, he was a son of Emma Wagner
Paulus of Bethlehem township and the late Edward Paulus.
He was a printer in the Dixie cup Division of the American Can
Co., where he worked for many years.
He served in the U.S. Army paratroopers in Europe in World War
II.
he was amember of St. John's Lutheran Church, Farmersville.
Mr. Paulus was treasurer of the Dixie Night shift Welfare Association,and
a member of the United Paper Makers and Paper Workers Union.
He was a member of the Steel City Rod and gun Club and of the
Nazareth Citizens Band Radio Club.
Survivors include his widow, Freida Lizun Paulus; one son,
five daughters,
one sister, Mrs. Mildred Barto of Pittsburgh,
and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday from St. John's Lutheran
Church, Farmersville. Interment will be in Farmersville Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by the Ashton Funeral home, Easton.
