Richard Moser, 71, formerly of Phillipsburg, died Wednesday
in the Lyons (N.J.) Veterans Administration Medical Center.
He was the husband of Clarice (Lacey) Moser.
He was a precision grinder for Ingersoll-Rand, Phillipsburg,
for more than 30 years before retiring.
Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Raymond and Elizabeth
(Price) Moser.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, having served in the
Pacific. He received the Purple Heart.
He graduated as a registered optician from Bach Technical
College, Philadelphia, in 1948.
Survivors: Wife; sons, Robert G. of Sunrise, Fla., and Richard
G. of Chesapeake Bay, Va.; daughters, Dian Sigafoos of Pohatcong
Township, N.J., and Katherine Schroeder and Pamela Penyak,
both of Phillipsburg; sister, Elizabeth Bishop of New Milford,
Conn.; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman
